Hard Kaur Vows to 'Fight Back' for Gender Equality

Looks like someone is in the mood to fight! Well, to "Fight Back" at least! Funky hip-hop MC Hard Kaur was in Mumbai on Wednesday to support the NGO "Fight Back" whose mission is to "engineer gender equality." And we can’t think of a worthier cause to fight for!

Founded by director Zubin Driver, "Fight Back" works with other celebrities and young activists to deal with issues related to gender violence.

"I want to reach young women through my music and get them involved in the mission of economic empowerment of women and girls, and ending racism," said Hard Kaur, adding "I think sexual, racial, gender violence and any type of discrimination and violence in a culture cannot be eliminated without changing culture."

The MC sure knows how to mix music with good ideas!
