Music For Equality!

Music For Equality is a new initiative from Fight-back! A new concept that combines the arts with social messaging, organically.

The Band:
Arijit Datta - vocals
Nikhil D'souza - vocals
Vinay Lobo - guitar
Kenneth Rebello - bass
Adrian D'souza - drums

The band will play original material written by Nikhil, Arijit and Adrian.

The evening is dedicated to Fight-Back...trip on music, trip on our message!

On a lovely Thursday evening (September 10th 2009), in Mumbai’s much-loved music performance club, Musicians Nikhil, Arijit and Adrian kept the audience enthralled with their original compositions – all dedicated to Fight Back, Engineering Gender Equality.

As a surprise twist, artiste and writer Sapna Bhavnani who happened to be in Blue Frog and felt for the cause put up an impromptu spoken-word performance on feminism that had the audience chuckling away.

And at the end of the evening, after the short but gripping Fight Back Audio Visual was aired, the applause was enough to assure us that the evening had been a success, our first Music For Quality event had touched hearts and spread our message.
